Update on AI-Generated Videos – Community Feedback & Our Next Steps

Hey hairmedia.de Community,

thank you so much for the incredible response so far! Yesterday (February 22, 2026), we launched our short poll asking:

What Do YOU Think About AI-Generated Videos on hairmedia.de?

The question is whether (and how) AI could fit into our platform without losing what makes hairmedia.de special – your authentic vintage hairstyling videos, detailed salon techniques, and that genuine retro feel.

Early results already show a clear trend: The majority prefers no AI content directly on hairmedia.de. Many of you value the real, filmed-in-salon authenticity and want to keep the site focused on that. We completely understand and respect this feedback – it's exactly why we asked!

That said, AI technology opens up exciting possibilities for creative, personalized hair-styling scenarios that are hard (or expensive) to produce traditionally. So we've decided:

We will offer AI-generated content – but on a separate, new platform. This keeps hairmedia.de pure and unchanged, while giving interested fans a dedicated space for experimental AI clips (still inspired by vintage styles, techniques, and our classic looks).

To gather ideas and see what kind of content people would actually want on this new platform, we're launching a small test right now in our shop:

For €0, you can order one short 10–15 second custom AI clip based on our existing materials. Simply place the free order, then reply immediately to the automatic confirmation email with:

• Your short script (keep it focused – one clear scene/moment)
• A reference link (ideally to one of our existing videos/products for style inspiration)

We'll create it and send the result back via email within 48–72 hours. Important: Orders without a proper script + reference in the reply can't be processed (we'll cancel them – no charge anyway). This trial is limited and helps us collect real ideas from you!
